Is there a way to set a default "view" for folders in XP? Like everytime I open a folder it would open in a "Icon" view? :blink:

Does Control Panel/Folder Options /View
then folder Views at the top not work?

First of all uncheck remember each folders view setting, go to a folder in windows explorer and set it how you like, detail view or thumbnails whatever then go to tools>View>Apply to all folders
