Opera reveals its tweaking secrets

Opera has given an insight into how surfers use its web browser. The browser developers asked users to report on which features and preferences they do and don't use and change.

Some of the findings were unexpected. For example, a preference added by popular request - the ability to turn on Fit to Width by default - is used by 0.0%, while the homepage button is more popular than the developers thought - 51% change the default address.

Tabs are clearly established as the de facto method of viewing multiple web pages. The option to "Open windows instead of tabs" is the least popular of all the tab options.
