I want to reopen this thread you closed, because I think you are so wrong in doing so.

In it, Frank mentions he runs a legitimate copy of Windows XP Professional, but uses the SAD Team's activation crack to bypass product activation. I, too, use the activation crack on a legitimate copy of Windows XP Home Edition, and I'll tell you why.

I have multiple computers in my household, but this is the only one running Windows XP. Sometimes I like to change hardware configurations, even swap motherboards with other computers. Do you know how hasslesome it is to call Microsoft to reactivate Windows XP every time I change computer configurations? I have done it at least twice before in the past, and quite frankly, I don't like doing it.

I would like everyone to know the activation crack _doesn't_ work after Service Pack 1 is installed.

Since when is discussing an activation "patch" the same as uploading illegal content? In any case, I don't know if an activation "patch" could be considered illegal. Gray area, maybe, but I installed Windows XP using a legitimate CD key, and I only have it installed on one computer, per EULA.

Read the FAQ i listed and let it go ok?
