WD Adds 750-GB, 1.5-TB Capacities to External Drives

Western Digital announced Monday that its My Book family of external hard drives has now added 750 Gbyte and 1.5 terabyte versions.

WD's My Book family -- which includes the My Book World, My Book Pro, My Book Premium and My Book Essential versions of localized and networked storage -- is available now from selected etailers and retailers, including WD's own online store at ShopWD.com (http://www.shopwd.com/). However, while the site listed the new drives, it did not list prices as of Monday morning.
