well now i'm trying to make my slipstreamed winxpsp1 not ask for a serial and do untended setup without using a disk

anyone know how???

i only kow how to do it with the disk

damn thats the say way from disk only

within the i386 folder copy your unattended text to it with the unattended .bat file and change the file name to winnt sif so it will be instead of unattended.txt winnt.sif extention ,to do that go to folder options from my computer and view show files extentions.this worked for me.

This is also where I learned. It has instructions (page 5 of tutorial) on how to do it w/out a floppy if you want. Worked fine when I tried it.

1. Copy above text to winnt.sif (rename unattended.txt to winnt.sif)
2. Slip winnt.sif into xp cd i386 folder
3. Boot from Cd in order to install xp unattended.

NB:
AutoPartition=1 (you may not choose partition)

but if

AutoPartition=0 (you may choose partition)
