Microsoft has received a patent for a car stereo that would include a docking station for an MP3 player or other handheld device.

The patent awarded this week by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (http://www.patentmonkey.com/PM/patentid/7222207.aspx) is for a car stereo that includes a docking station for an off-the-shelf handheld computer.
