Study: Tide of spam continues unabated; people don't care as much

_____________ Who clicks on those links in spam e-mails, anyway? According to new research from the Pew Internet & American Life Project, four percent of US e-mail users admitted to ordering products hawked in unsolicited e-mail. That sounds pretty low (and it has fallen from seven percent back in 2003), but it still amazes me to realize that four out of every hundred people I pass in the street might well be going home to their computers and ordering "male enhancement" products, weight loss pills, and dodgy mortgage products.
