HP Wins $5.6 Billion NASA Contract

NASA awarded Hewlett-Packard a seven-year, $5.6 billion contract to provide the agency a wide range of new technologies. HP products offered by the indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, also called the "NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) IV Class 5," will include workstations, desktops, blade PCs capable of handling Linux and Unix, servers and printers, along with other pieces of hardware.
