Microsoft Releases Five New Vista Patches
 

Last week, Microsoft released some "important" updates for Windows Vista that haven't made their way to Windows Update yet.

Here's the shakedown:

Update for Windows Vista (KB931174)
This update configures the Windows Customer Experience Improvement Program to improve the quality of software information sent to Microsoft.

Update for Windows Vista (KB932649)
Install this update to resolve an issue where poor video quality may be experienced when configuring video to interlaced mode on a system running Windows Vista.

Update for Windows Vista (KB931671)
Install this update to resolve an issue where an error message is received when placing a Windows Vista system into a sleep state while a PPP connection is active.

Update for Windows Vista (KB933824)
Install this update to resolve an issue where an Apple iPod may be corrupted by using the Safely Remove Hardware feature on a system running Windows Vista.
