calculator gone
went to use the calculator the other day and it (xp sp2) cannot find it, it was working a few days before this happened. I'm not sure what happened cause I haven't updated anything. How do I get it back?
|
Mine's at WINDOWS\System32\calc.exe and it appears in the Accessories submenu. That's with XP Pro SP2 fully updated. Don't know what might cause it to disappear.

Also try,
to reinstall, go start|settings|control panel|add/remove programs|add/remove windows components. highlight 'accessories and utilities' and click 'details.' highlight 'accessories' and click 'details.' make sure there's a check in 'calculator.' if there's already a check there but calc isn't working, uncheck it and 'okay' your way out. go back in and recheck it. that should reinstall. good luck. |
But to be honest I'd rather use Calc98 than the one that came with windows!
Calc98 is freeware More info, http://www.calculator.org/download.html Dowmload, http://www.calculator.org/DownloadFi...ame=c9853w.exe |
