Help with wireless connectivity in Laptop

Hello Friends,

I have a problem with Wireless in my laptop. when evfer i connect to any wireless point i get the following error : "Limited or No connectivity" i tried searching the net but couldnt find any answer :(
i always get 168.256.x.x as my dhcp server. i have no clue how to fix this. Other laptops works perfectly fine with the same wireless point!

And what wireless router?

Security enabled? (Correct key being used?)
And how about MAC address filtering?

Compare DNS settings\IP Settings between the laptops. Sometimes Windows Wireless Zero Configuration actually works so dump the wireless software you got with the laptop/wireless card and vice versa.

yes, I agree with Dog; windows wireless configs almost ALWAYS work better at dconnecting than ANY third party software does..
