Linux for Windows Guys
 

We had some good stuff on this thread, especially craftyc who knows his stuff. Now that pundits say Windows has hit the same point as Apple--becoming so top heavy that they need to start over again, is it time to review Linux?

There are dozens, if not a hundred Linux distros out there--most free. I just looked up what was happening with Xandros, the most user friendly distro I've found, but they charge a fee. Also, I'm not totally clear if CrossOver really does support Outlook 2003 or not, a must in my book.

Key to me is syncing my Palm SmartPhone with Outlook 2003.

Anyhow, I'm trying out the new version 4 of Xandrsos, called Xandros Home Premium. STill some things to discover.

Anybody got any new observations on this issue?
