Pimp my ass

VIACOM IS a company that claimed revenue of $265 bllion for the quarter ending June 30th. As you can learn from its web site here.


The company seems to own brands such as MTV as well as some other TV channels and stuff that we've barely heard of.

Still, what we have learned about the company is that it thinks it owns the words "Pimp my..", as you can see over here.

The silly English fellows that fiddle with food and started www.pimpmysnack.com soon had Viacom on their backs, complaining that it owned anything with 'Pimp' and 'My' in it.

Daft? Certainly. Scary for snack-pimpers? So it would seem. And so 'my' becomes 'that'. Anyone got any idea what the world is coming to?
