1) Download the XP Boot.Bin below
2) Copy the entire contents of your original CD to C:\XP 3) Extract the service pack. If you have winrar installed, just right click on it> extract files> and type C:\XPSP1 >click extract 4) Go to Start> Run> and type C:\XPSP1\update\update.exe -s:C:\XP\ 5) Making the bootable CD image with CDIMAGE v2.47 (attached below) download and place in C:\ From the command prompt type: C:\CDIMAGE -LWXPFPP_EN -T08/29/2002,6:30:00 -BC:\BOOT.BIN -G -H -M -N -X C:\XP C:\WXPFPP.ISO Now hit enter to compile the CD Burn with your favorite ISO burning app. Last edited by pcservicetech at Today at 5:28 pm |

Errr...ok...I did up to step 4.....but there seems to be no
changes made??? Did I miss something ???? Am I then supposed to reinstall XP all over again ??? |
