SpyWare Software

I have used Adaware for as long time, but find that the best out there is Spyware Doctor. The latest version is V 4.

No comparison with Spybot or others I've tried. Spyware doctor found trojans non of my other safeguards found. I have 4 pc's with a variety of protection, including Norton NIS, Kaspersky and AVG+free Zone Alarm.

Also, I suggest you check out Cyberhawk, now out of beta and still free. Interesting, but I remain cynical.

Anybody got some experience and views on this subject? I've had a lot of beasties and attacks on my wireless router recently.

I just finished reloading my brother's PC after it was attacked too. I use Spybot and Adaware, only my brother wasn't updating it like he should have! I like them both, as one scans memory, while the other scans files. They complement each other very well.
