Please can somebody tell me how can I totaly remove WMP from my computer and then install it again because now when I try to run avi files or any other file I get error report!!!

I believe you are going to need SP1 to remove windows media player. Then it is just a matter of selecting it from 'add/remove programs' box.

1 - What OS are you running ?
2 - What version of WMP are you running ?
3 - What type of AVI's do you try to ålay ?
