Google unveils enterprise Search Appliance
 

Google is launching two new search products aimed at large corporations and small businesses.


The new Google Search Appliance integrates Google's OneBox technologythat will allows companies to offer search short cuts to commonly askedquestions across their business applications, such as corporate contactdirectory, customer resource management and financial programs.













The new Google Search Appliance, for which pricing starts at $30,000,also has improved security and performance increases over the previousSearch Appliance, Google said.

Meanwhile, the new Google Mini is targeted at small businesses and isfaster and half the size and weight of the original Mini. It costs justunder $2,000.

Google also is launching an enterprise developer program.
