Microsoft IE7 Beta 2 Preview-Forum Feedback
I didn't see anything here posted yet, so I figured I'd start a thread. Anybody brave enough to install this should report their feedback here. :)
|
well, I'd love to post about it, but I cant get this version to install either...
msfeeds.dll is the file that stops the installation....I know this is a KNOWN problem with lots of folks.. |
oh... didn't know .. I am brave... ill test it tonight at home !!!
|
Thanks for the nfo Mike. I just did a format and was wondering if this would screw my OS over.
|
I've loaded it on 2k3. Been surfing for a while with no mishaps. 1 or 2 sites don't want to keep my login details, but can get by for a bit.
It's the first I've run IE7 so a few things to get used to. |
i cannot install it...setup is crashing
|
Have loaded it here in XP, really better than previous build. Like HotRod said, GUI takes a while to get used to. Apart from that, really nice. :)
Functionality wise, I do however get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" for every 1/10 webpage I visit. I then have to do a Refresh. |
Been running for a couple days now. So far been alright.
Has an issue on some forums. The back key brings to last site you were at instead of where you want to go. Quick reply doesn't work at some places. Not had problems with page not displaying yet. An issue sometimes with RoboForm, but go someplace else first then works. Doesn't like reg hack that allows login in url http:''user:pass@site.com so just use RoboForm for them now Really have no compalints yet, ...it's beta and I'm running it on Windows 2003. |
I had it installed once but couldn't get into my bank!
Said I needed to upgrade to a newer version! How much newer than a beta can you get :) |
I'm thinking of installing. Hmm.....add/remove, system restore.....will either of those REALLY bring me back if it doesn't work out ;)
