AMD's CEO Hector Ruiz was named "CEO of the Year" by Electronic Business magazine, their now famous AMD64 technology has received over 160 global awards since its introduction and the company recently teamed up with Sun Microsystems to build Japan's largest super computer at the Tokyo Institute for Technology.
