Vista on PII 675Mhz
 

Do you think it's possible to Install Vista 5270 on a PII 675Mhz, With 256Mg or ram ( 133mhz ) with a Voodoo 5500 video card ?!

Hey Alpine, I have tried Longhorn 4015 in a Pentium II 400 MHz, 512 MiB RAM PC. It works but sure it won't be usable. In simple words, SLOW! :)

The final build might be ok. ;)

I got p3 600mhz with xp on it and runs it fine so hoping it will run vista in "winxp" mode.

Guess we will just have to wait and see.

The beta builds so far have struggle with anything less than 1GB RAM. 512 is marginally acceptable. Forget running it on anything else than a modern CPU with plenty of RAM.

The final release may be different. I remember there were some drastic improvments gradually taking place between Whistler Beta 1 and XP RTM.
