The cds i write with clone cd or blibdwrite with the cd-rw8342 doesnt work. does anyone know wot shud i do to get working copies with those programs.thanks

Although I don't have a firm answer for you I have the following comment:

I would not touch Creative cd burners with a 10 foot pole again. I was caught out once and that is enough. The problem is that they rebadge writers and so you don't know what you get. I wanted to buy one, did some research and according to my research the writer was a rebadged Plextor. Went out and bought one. Tried CloneCD and it did not work. The drive was a rebaged pioneer (peace of junk) although it had the same model number as the Plex.

Sent an e-mail to Creative and the basically told me that they had my money and I could $%^&** myself.

This model had 3 different drives so you really don't know what you get.

EDIT: I don't think your drive is supported by the software. Suggestion: Get a real Writer.
