M$ "copies Apple", open source "breaks applications
A MAN FROM SAP said Microsoft is copying Vista while open source software "failed to deliver innovation and is more likely to break applications".
So says this article at VNU Net, quoting a SAP suit called Shai Agassi. Microsoft's future OS Vista isn't copying Linux, it's copying Apple, the man is quoted as saying. Agassi said that the core SAP app is proprietary and if it did move to open source it wouldn't have any reason to "innovate". He also said that intellectual property "socialism" threatened an intellectual property based society. ![]() The INQuirer |
