ATI Radeon X1000 Family Previews
 

The first waves of next generation ATI previews have hit the web, showing promising results for ATI's newest additions to its graphics card lineup. The X1000 series brings quite a few new features to the table, including a new memory controller, SM3.0, HDR w/anti aliasing, ATI's "Adaptive" anti aliasing, and others. While NVIDIA's 7800 GTX and GT announcements coincided with product availability, it appears that ATI has not followed suit, much to the chagrin of gamers everywhere. There is no official release date set, but it should be within the next month.
