Cleaning up add/remove programs list ?
I need some help to clean up the add/remove programs list in an XP home installation.
I can see about 5 or 6 programs in the list , then there is a huge void before I get the rest of the listing Is there an easy way to get rid of this void? |
They are all listed in the registry under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall |
Thanks war , after a bit more research I found the problem where you said , turned out to be a -1 after the autocad display icon statement. got rid of that and all is now good.

Glad you figured it out.
BTW here is a great Add Remove Programs replacement and has option to remove old entries too. So no more registry hunting. And yes it's fast as hell. How does 0.06secs. loading over 800 items sound. hehe And supports silent uninstalls. :) http://wistinga.sourceforge.net/safarp/ And can you blieve your eyes. Its open source too. :D Buiding it right now. hehe Well no mods needed to build appariently. :) Build: 1 succeeded, 0 failed, 0 skipped Sweet guess I will mod a bit. Enjoy, Will |
Thank you,
I grabbed this safarp thing also. It feels as it isn't realy finished yet. It also feels totally okey. regards, |
Thanks might try that
I think my add/remove list could do with sorting out! |
