I've found that .net Server RC1 does NOT install ethernet drivers for my linksys network card leaving my computer without broadband internet access. I've tried to install all the possible drivers I could think of such as the original from the floppy, and newer ones from the website....and everytime i try to install it, it gives an INF error message or something to that affect. Everything else is fine because it can be turned on from Programs > Administrative Tools > Services

Any advice on what to do because I'd like to try using this to see how it differs over WinXP. but I don't want to do it unless I can get my net access to work properly.

Thanks

TCM

Do you have a dualboot one for the WinXP Pro, and one for the Windows.NET if so you can use the drivers used by Winxp Pro, just browse to the inf directory of the Winxp Pro. try to locate the inf of your lynksys network card. There will be a message it not tested by .NET but just continue the installation..

I've the same problem with my network card, a Realtek one!

I've installed the inf of the drivers in safe mode! Try the safe mode!
