DirectSound in Vista Beta 1
 

Finally got the chance to test Vista Beta 1. Installation went all okay. Only two problems so far.

1. Can't get online, access network -- seems like an issue with the Network Card
2. Sound is ugly with Audigy LS -- DirectSound issue
I got Audiogy LS drivers installed using Windows XP Compatibity mode like Brave01Heart said in the other thread.

But sometimes there is no sound or sound skips and stutters. Can't access Sound properties etc.

Not sure if it is advisable to try the above fix. It did not work in the system I tried in both Safe and Normal Mode (this is after changing the C:\Windows to %windir%). It's probably why I cannot try the KX Audigy Drivers either: http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/down.php?language=en
