WinRar question
I'm I stupid or is there no way to password protect an exising archive without remaking it?
I thought the option would be to open it in winrar and select File\set default password, but that doesn't seem to do it. I would also prefer to encrypt the filenames if possible but I can't figure out how to do it without first extracting the archive and remaking it. Thanks, Dave |
I did a search and was not able to find a solution that would be quick and easy with winrar although I would have thought it was possible. Maybe there are others here that can answer that better.
Thanks Dudelive |
I haven't seen such an option. I guess you have to redo and click "background" and relax. In most cases you wan't the whole archive encrypted anyway, don't you?
