Outlook Web Access

Hello all it's me again. Just putting out a query, I dont know how often you guys use Outlook Web Access but, have you ever incountered disappearing e-mail? Here we go..

You check your e-mail using web access, receive a new message. Reply to it using web access, but when you open your regular Outlook the message is nowhere to be found?
  • No it wasnt deleted (happened more than once)
  • No it is not in the deleted items
  • No I was not imagining things because the reply is saved in my sent items folder.
Anyone seen this before or knows why this happens? Your help is much appreciated as this can be a bit annoying.

Thanks

Maybe your outlook is setup to only receieve new messages not old ones.

Hi Dijital,

No that is not the case.. it is wierd because it doesnt happen to all e-mail messages, just a few. I was thinking that it might be marked private or something but I should be able to see my own private messages.

You don't happen to be using personal folders in your regular outlook client?

Hi Jack,

I have Subfolders but it doesnt appear in there either. Nowhere to be found, just wondering why it happens. The only place i seen it is in the Sent Items folder when I replied.
