Virtual CD Burners?

Hi,

Just like using Alcohol 120%, DAEMON Tools to emulate CD ROMs, is there a good program to emulate CD Burners? Would be nice to know. :)

Thanks,
McoreD

You kinda confused me there... what exactly do you want to do?

Are you talking about writing a cd to an ISO or BIN type image? If so, Alcohol has an option for doing that. I've used many diff programs for that, and it all depends on what I'm trying to do. If it's a copy protected cd, either Alcohol or CloneCD, or BlindWrite are all good. If you want to make Bin/Cue images you could go old school and find a copy of CDrWin or use Nero to make nrg files. Also ISObuster for reading images and modifying their files....

...you see there are many, many options depending on exactly what you're trying to accomplish.

Let me be more specific. :)

There are some programs like HDD Regenerator that allows us to burn a bootable CD. In its drop down menu of the devices, it is listing my DVD Burner and CD Burner, also the virtual DVD ROM. So I was wondering if there was a way to create Virtual CD/DVD Burners which will just list as those DVD/CD Burners so that I can pick the virtual CD/DVD Burner to write the bootable CD to an ISO/BIN.

Cheers,

This is like Nero Image Drive (which is only functional inside Nero). I just wished it worked at System level.

If I understand it correct.....It would be nice to choose any virtual device or drive on the computer from ONE spot. Then it could be accessed easier and quicker for what ever the demand was without having to open so many programs. If my explaination is what you are looking then you may have to talk to someone that programs and split the information and money.

Thanks
