how do you?
go to college with a wife and a kid? Is there a University that will say "you go and be this we will pay for it and provide for your family, but you have to work for us for XX years" or do you just go part time and stretch out a 2 year degree into 6 years and work full time between taking 1 college course at a time????
anyone know of some resouces that can get me some answers? ~PCT |
What are you looking at studying? I looked at a home course that would get me my MS A+ and networking certs but the pricing was prohibative. After looking around i found i could study for the course for free and take the exam for around %5 of the all in course- it might be a cheaper and easier way for you to get extra qualifications.

Scholarships rule!
Apply for all the scholarships that you can find. My girlfriend won the Gates Millenium Scholarship. All she had to do was write a nice essay. They chose her's and now she's got a full ride, plus they pay all her rent and bills. We both work here at the college part time in the Federal Work Study program wich gives us some extra spending cash and career related experiance along the way. Another great thing about Work Study is that it doesn't count against us as income when we do our FAFSA, so that even though we're drawing 2 paychecks they show up as $0 for income and taxes at the end of the year. |
That's good Dopeweasel!
I had to pay for mine :( Just waiting for the results now to see if it was all worth it :p |
