Google X Borrows From Macintosh
Described as a "a fun late-night coding jaunt", Google Labs has just launched a new little site aimed at centralizing access to many Google services. The JavaScript/DHTML based portal allows visitors to select a Google service using a "Macintosh-Dock" type interface. Upon selecting an item from the "GoogDock", users are whisked away to the appropriate service site.
The creators of Google X have provided a somewhat humorous caption to the bottom of the page, which reads: "Roses are red. Violets are blue. OS X rocks. Homage to you." Definitely worth a few seconds to check this one out. View: Google News Post | Screenshot View: Google X ![]() ![]() |
