Live from CeBIT 2005
 

I'm posting this from the CeBIT trade show in Hanover, Germany. While unfortunatly this year there aren't many demonstrations of Microsoft beta products (other than VS.NET 2005), there's a lot of other exciting gadgets on display. I've posted a mini writeup at http://zone-mr.net/?cebit05

Here.. here... Is there Apple Computer?? I'll post a comment about that too.. I would love it if you can a photo of the Apple, if they are there.

Brings back memories of my youth, for about 5 years I went to COMDEX , ( Loved all the give away 5.25" disks then 3.5" disk with Demo's on them, and all the other gadets that were give aways, I even won a $1000 software package in a drawing. To this day even still have my MS Word 6.0 Fanny pack, LOL.

Have fun. Even though I was under 20 during thoose fun times, I still remeber how much my feet hurt at the end of the day (and my arms from the bags ),

Haha, I feel exactly the same way. It's great fun, but after a whole day of walking around, my feet are aching, and even the lightest objects I'm carrying seem to weigh a ton.

Never been to COMDEX, but I have some initial plans to go there this November. Should be interesting to compare with CeBIT.

I looked for them specially today, but surprisingly they weren't exhibiting anything. I'm a little dissapointed that neither Microsoft nor Apple had anything exciting to show. Apple weren't there, and Microsoft just demonstrated products which have already existed for a while. I was hoping MS would show their Media Center Extenders (due to launch Q4 in Europe), and that Apple would show off their mac Minis and upcoming models of the iPod.
