I've tried drive image 2002 and I guess it doesn't like my computer because it won't work. What other programs are there to use?
thanks. |
Symantec Norton Ghost 2002
*http://ghost.radified.com/ I have used this for years and swear by it. Zo |
Also I would trust Ghost more than anything else. If you have Anacronis True Image that could also be an option. I know it doesn't work for everybody, but if it does it's conveniant to use (incl an simple process to setup a boot-cd).

norton won't do what i need it too. i need to be able to backup two hard drives and have the option of selecting both of them at the same time like i could in drive image.
|
guess i'm just out of luck. i can't get nti to create iso files. it creates .npf so it would mean i would have to have nti installed for it to work, right?

ok i need some more help with it. especially with drive image 2002.
here is what it gives me after it reboots (error 91): Quote:

Can I make a suggestion? Why not use the software included with windows to make your backups. It works, and customizing what to back up and where to back up is pretty simple.
|
I think you need to do it off a DOS boot disk.
As far as "WRPROG" goes, I don't have that included in Drive Image but I have it in my Partition Magic folder. You want to be carefull that you don't actually need that disk manager or your not going to be able to access your drives anymore. If you used a floppy that came with your drive it might have added it without your system needing it. Most of those disks have a dignostic and removal utility so you might want to try that first. Please be carefull, Dave |
i didn't use any software that came with my disks.
i'm just gonna forget about it. i'm sick of formatting because of something going wrong during it and i'm just ready to install the games and start playing again. thanks everyone for your help. |
