New build of MSN Messenger 7 surfaces
 

Today, a new build of MSN Messenger 7 surfaced on the net amid reports that the official release has been delayed til April, with a new private beta being scheduled for March.

The new build 604 contains quite a number of changes from the previous beta build (build 425) including slightly modified icons and support for a new feature called personalized status messages.

Essentially, these are text messages displayed next to each contact icon that can be anything from custom away messages to the MP3 your buddy is currently listening to.
