Looking For MP3 ID3 Tag Generater.
 

Hello All,

I wanted to see if there was a program out there that will accomplish the following:

I have quite a few songs backed up, and recently, I got a new Creative Zen Micro. I already sent my songs to the player, but since most of them do not have all the complete information within their ID3 Tags, it makes it a pain to read the song info on the screen. It would take forever to go through all the songs I have and modify them one by one.

I wanted to see if there was a program out there that would automatically take the file, run it through an online music DB. If it finds a match, it will automatically add/modify the information to the ID3 tag and save it (and if possible, rename the music file if it needs to).

Is there a program out there that will do what I mentioned above?

[EDIT] - Do you think "Mp3tag 2.27c - New Year Edition" will do what I am looking for? Does anyone know anything about this program, if it is worth trying?

TagScanner can do about 1000 songs in about 30secs.

That is if all the mp3s have at least some sort of info tag. But no it wont search the internet. Wish it would. About to make a feature request for it. hehe Thanks for the idea. :)

And to answer the other question I have no clue if mp3tag will do that. I never knew it could if it does.

Damn, never mind not working anymore. Did not notice. Its like two years old. :(

I just tried Mp3tag 2.27c. It does have a DB option, but it doesn't seem to work all that well. Half the time it will error out, or it will just produce results to now wheres near what I am looking for... :confused:

I wonder if there is any other alternative.
