MPAA Is Suing Torrent Sites

Just a heads up to anyone using bittorrent. At least one of the major torrent sites Lokitorrent.com is now officially being sued by the MPAA according to an announcement on the front page of their site. I'm sure that more are soon to follow. No word yet on whether individual users will be sued as well although judging from the MPAA and RIAA's reputations I'm sure that users are soon to follow.

I'd be very interested in reading the wired article for January's issue..

Clearly the MPAA is as dumb now as the RIAA was back during the Napster startup. They need to embrace BT and use it to their advantage right now. Offer the media content users want on demand right now for such a small fee it's not worth taking the risk of downloading illigal. Wake up MPAA and get the old farts out from behind their desks and put some new blood in there that understands what's currently going on. :boxing:
