Encoding Problem
I was encoding some stuff from xvid to vcd, and I got everything started, and changed over during the night, but when I woke up it was all video and NO sound at all! I was a little up set, but to tired to care. Can anyone tell me how to change the video and keep the audio? Maybe a step by step guide, I used tmpgenc. I even added subtitles to it, I figured that out and it worked pretty good, but still no sound. It would be nice if I could hear what is going on other than watching the subs! I used TMPGENC to convert and used WinSubMux to add subtitles, but to my suprise NO SOUND! can someone point me to a Guide and a list of software needed to complete this!? I'm a noob when it comes to movies and stuff! :)

hi PCTech!
have a look @ DivX Digest.. I would suggest these pages: h**p://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/articles/tmpgenc_svcd.html & h**p://www.divx-digest.com/articles/avi2mpeg1.html both focuses on "AVI/DivX to MPEG-2/SVCD Conversion" have fun AND ... :newyear: |
sweet! I was looking at afterdawn.com and the guides i guess I was just tired, didn't work for me! But now that I know all I need is TMPGENC, i'm going to play with it tonight when I get home, I got an old version of it so I will download the free version 2.52 or 3.0 or whatever it is tonight, I'll let everyone know how it goes later!
Thanks Marcovaleriof!!! PCTech |
In order for it to work correctly for me I had to install a codec other than the ones for windows media player. GoodLuck
