ASUS P4P800E-Deluxe Mobo
Does anyone know , use or have any experience withis exact board?
Also how does Abit and MSI P4 boards compare to ASUS in general now? Probably with latest Intel Chipset 865, CPU 3.0, AGP 8X and Firewire...etc Are there any mobos that are considered exceptionally good or outstanding in the current crop of mobos. Interested in opnions, experience and possible problems thanks moen |
no comments??
There must be someone who has looked into mobos lately moen |
I've got one, never had any problems with it. You can overclock it in the bios. I'm sure there's newer stuff out there that has more options, but I can't complain.

thanks
Have you ever had an MSI mobo?? |

I use an Abit IC7-Max3 and it's been flawless so far. Then again, I've only had the MB for 11 months.
I use an older Asus MB in my other computer and no problems there either. |
I have a MSI Platinum now, but with an Athalon fx53...I had that Azus board with my last P4, and it worked just fine;..both allow lots of "adjustments" relatively easily, so I guess its a matter of personal preference...
My MSI board has a few advantages over the Azus board, but either one would be a great choice.. |

What advantages does the Msi Platinum Board have over that ASUS board. |
dual high speed networking capability, 4 gig mem capacity, and a couple of other differences that I cant think of this early n the AM!!
And the MSI is a bit more expensive, so keep that in mind.. Here's a couple spots to check out.. http://www.digital-daily.com/motherb...xe/index06.htm http://www.mbreview.com/index.php |
Just noticed this. I have a P4C800-E Deluxe. Been using it for a year or so with 1GB of ram in it. Been working well. I have 2 SATA drives instlled, but don't use the the mirroring feature.
