tODAY i RECEIVED MY DELL MCE2005OEM
 

Well I just got my MCE2005OEM software DVD from Dell. The iso itself is over 3gig in size. I installed it on my Dell Dimension 8200. The installation went flawlessly!!

It also installs bonus features for mce2005 which is great. I also find this version to be 100% better then the msdn and OEMDSP. It definately more stable and smoother in operation. The dell remote for it is isaclly like the 2004 version and works flawessly!! The mce2005OEMDELL was built to dell specification which I am very impress with! For this one I definatelly say GO Dell go DEll!!

The product number for mce2005 is: 420-4920
The product number for the remote is 412-0736

The software goes for $100 canadian and the remote goes for $50 canadian.

Here's a few bonuses you get with the software:

1. ESPN Motion
2. Gallery Player

Anyway I think I will start to work and switch from the Win XP HE into the XP Pro and then jump into the dreams with the MCE 2005 :D

Is the "MCE2005OEM software" specific to Dell machines?
Exactly what is this software, what does it replace and how/what does it improve?

I run WinXp Pro SP2.
