[FIXED] - "Last Page" Link Bug - When Viewing New Posts
 

Hello,

I may have found a tiny bug. From the Portal (or I guess anywhere on the site), if you click on the 'New Posts" link, and find a thread that has more than one page worth of posts - if you click on the "Last Page" link, it will take you to the first page of that thread.

Once you are in that thread, you can click on the "Last >>" link and it will then take you to the last page.

Again, a minor bug that should take low priority to more important matters. I thought I'd just point this out so this can be fixed when there is time to do so.

I just tested it and it's working fine here.
once you click on the new posts link it iwll search for the new post
in the new page if you click on the post/thread title it will show you the first post

if you want to go to the last post in that thread you need to click on this image:

Hey Sony,

It still isn't working for me. Try following these steps to see if it does the same thing for you.

1. From the portal, click New Posts in the top nav bar
2. Find a thread that contains more than 1 or 2 pages
3. Click on the "Last Page" link next to the page numbers for that thread, you should notice that it takes you to page 1 instead of the last page.
4. Once you are in the thread and click on the "Last >>" link, it will take you to the last link.

Please let me know now if you see what I am seeing.

I dont see the last page link in text anyways that your talking about but see this:

I do not have any New Posts showing up that have more than 1 page at the moment. Next time I see the "Last Page" link, I'll take a snapshot of it and add it to a post so you can see what I am seeing.

All right, cool. :)

Well, it looks like it has been removed now. So I cannot give you a snapshot! :) After clicking on the "New Posts" link, I see 1 thread that has 3 pages, and the "Last Page" link is no longer there.

So I guess Sony fixed the issue by removing that link and placing the little graphic next to the usersname to go to the last post which is the last page.

All is good now! :)
