While there are still quite a few things we need to do, the upgrade is mostly complete. We hope you like what you see :)

There are however a few small things that were lost during the upgrade, namely:

* Not all forum permissions are configured correctly. If you had access to the crew/donor/etc sections, it may take a few days before this is restored.
* Users with 0 posts were dropped in the DB cleanup. Most of them signed up and never visited betaone again, so it's not much of a problem. If you recently registered and had yet to post, sign up again.
* Users who registered less than 2 months ago, after we upgraded to IBF will not be able to log on before they reset their password.
* Not all of the changes we promissed are here yet, but expect a lot more within a day or two.
* Some member profile fields may have been lost. The majority of signatures were imported incorrectly, so we decided to delete existing sigs. Hopefully it won't be too much hassle setting them up again.

The main developers of the new site were sony and myself. Recently we welcomed sony on board the administation team, and his knowledge and contribution has been invaluable.

Thanks also go to Al (aka belthazor) for hosting the BetaONE site, and taking care of the financial side of things for the last two years. While he's had to move on due to lack of time, we couldn't have survived those two years if it wasn't for him.

Just wanted to let you all know that if you prefer the old IB posts look with the user information on the left instead of the new vb3 look, simply choose "BetaONE Legacy" from the drop down menu at the bottom of the forum.

Sony, is I tried this but it does not seem to "stick" in other words I have to choose it each time I open a window. Any help please?

Also, can someone please tell me how I can look at the days posts, or the last 2 days etc. Looking for this but I can't find it.

Awesome guys, just awesome. Didn't realise VBB could look this good.

How come we've moved back to VBB after changing to IPB?

I have been following IPB's new releases and am really pissed off how they are now only providing 15 day trial copies and then you have to pay for license. I think it sucks after they went on about how ipb will and always be free blah blah. They used to say MYSQL, Apache and PHP are free so why pay for a board. Hyprocites! I hope everyone goes back to VBB.

I need to redo my site and remove ipb.

But you guys have a done a great job, all the admins and mods always make sure this is a place a constantly visit.
