Hello everybody
I run winXP professional edition. Before the crash, I get the message "LSA Shell (Export Version) LSA Shell (Export Version) has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience... Please tell Microsoft about this problem..." Then I have an option to "Send Error Report" or "Don't Send" Which ever button I click on, I get this message: "System Shutdown This system is shutting down... Shutdown was initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Time before shutdown: 00:00:49 Message The system process . The s'C:\\WINNT\system32\lsass.exe'terminated unexpectedly with status code -1073741819ystem will now shut down and restart." I looked in msconfig but didn't see any security updates by unknown. Please help! I've scanned the disk for virus with Norton 2004 & Trend, found nothing. I'ved alsow scanned with sasser.fix. With no result. |
Had this happen with a computer on campus.. I ran Adaware, the free one, and found 480 mal objects... Something about SAN agent, the owner of the computer before put something on the machine..
NOW -> the computer is back at her friends place being fixed... "BlackICE'd", blah... Run the adware in startup mode... all the agents load up during final setup. :) |
Next time this happens simply go to start > run > and type in shutdown /a or shutdown -a. This will stop your computer from rebooting. :)

Right from Microsoft. :) hxxp://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.mspx Or just download the fix right here. :) hxxp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=e70a0d8b-fe98-493f-ad76-bf673a38b4cf&displaylang=en Yeap good old Blaster Worm. lol |
