Just wondering if amyone uses software for dictating to and controlling their PC. I havent used any voice software for quite a while but from what i can remember of it it was a PITA to train, extremely limited in what it could do and even more importantly wouldnt allow me to export the trained dictionary for when i next had to reinstall the computer.
Has it improved any in the last few years? Does anyone have any reccomendations for software they are using or have been using? Any help appreciated, Thanks |
voice command kinda died off since couple years ago.
the only ones i can remember are the ones that comes with microsoft (office?) and then there's corel dragon natural speak (5 being the latest?) non are reasonably good and ackward to use. |
Those are ok. That technology and another one called OCR have never really been all that great. OCR is for changing scanned text in case you didn't know.

I never had good luck with these programs in the past :(
Don't know if they have improved them now ? |
