The famous chipset builder Via has released it's K8T890 chip that brings PCI Express to the AMD64 bit platform......
Abit and Gigabyte jumped already on the bandwagon with respectively the Abit AX8 and the Gigabyte GA-K8VT890G-939. Both companies are famous for their quality motherboards, but while Abit decided to concentrate on PCI-Express only,Gigabyte included the well known AGP slot,so that people are not forced to replace their expensive videocard. Now when will the first motherboard be released that contains Nvidia's Nforce 4 chip for the AMD platform???? http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/large.php?model=215 http://www.hardwareluxx.de/story.php?id=1110 |
