You remember, i have buy a DVD burner.

A LiteON DVDRW DoubleLayer SOHW-835S.

But each time i try to burn, Like the pics you'll see below, i was trying to make a Data DVD disc.

I use the Nero software ( Version 6 ) that come with the DVD, and i also try Nero 6 UltraEnterprise Edition v6.3.1.20 and Nero 5.5.10.35 Enterprise .

Most problems I have had was due to an imcompatible dvd brand. Try another brand and see if it still does the same.

Look at one of C0deKing's post's part way down. If you have problems this site is an excellent source of info on burning.

look at this error after updating the firmware !!

Check pics below !!

The Nero site should have an explanation for that error though "Ilegal Disk" seems like the media isn't supported by your drive.

The link i posted was not about upgrading your firmware, Did you try what he said about deleting the aspi drivers first and reinstalling them.

Dog, according to cdfreaks, alot of people are having this proble with his model number. I have a 812s with upgraded firmware running no problem. You always need to read ALOT before upgrading the FW. Sorry your to hear your problems. Do some more reading over there and see if you can find an answer, they specialize in this sort of thing.
