Another reason why i don't ditch 98SE yet...

noticed again that transfers are slower for me from winxp_en SP2 than from win98SE. Was uploading a gang of .rars files in XP today getting 34kb/s didn't seem right cuz free increase in bandwidth to 60KB/s is in effect.

I'm using da same client for uploads & downloads on both partitions. I experience this whether i'm using UltraFXP or Flashfxp same results when using Reget dl manager or flashGet.

switched to 98SE now getting 65+ KB/s, rebooted to XP upload speed decreased to 30KB/s, rebooted back to 98SE and it increased back up to 66KB/s.

Win98SE / WXPSP2 dual boot w/all da fixes & updates on both OS's.

I'm not complaining bout the speed just wondering how can get the same from XP.
Anyone know why? thanks... :)

Check by XPAntispy-->miscellaneous settings if you selected "disable limiting of bandwidth".
