ATI CATALYST drivers provide fully qualified display support for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 systems with Radeon display cards, but requires a special version of ATI's Video Capture (WDM) drivers for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 systems with All-in-Wonder boards, which will be provided by your computer manufacturer.

Before you start, please read the ATI Driver and Software Installation Instructions.

It's nice to see ATI spitting out updates once a month to keep on top of fixes/improvements. I remember at one time it would take forever for them to release a new driverset.

I can't verify this, but coincidentally, my machine has been running slower than s hit since I installed this. I may try rolling back to see if it helps.

Hmmm, thanks for this update belthazor. I had downloaded the drivers a few days ago and they have been sitting on my desktop waiting to be installed... I am not too sure if I should use them. Perhaps wait for the next release? Version 4.8 seems to be fine with my system at the moment.

Anyone else experiencing issues with the new 4.9 drivers? Is it that new control center app that is causing the issues? I don't think you need to install the new control center, correct? You just need the driverset and the control panel installed still, right?

I disabled all my startup ATI crap and had a significant improvement.
Shame on you ATI.
