Hello All,
I just noticed this and wanted to see if others were encountering the same thing. If you were to go to the Automatic Updates, and then click on Automatic, select a day and time, it will not automatically update the system! I had set it to check every day at 1:00pm. Well, it is past 1:00pm, and there is an update available. Now within WindowsUpdate, there is a link to set up Automatic Updates, and that day/time is set for everyday at 3:00am. Shouldn't this be set to 1:00pm since I set it to that time already? -SlickVic78 |
I'm having a similar problem. I have my computer set for automatic updates (to download but not install until I say so) but I have yet to get the notification.

Well, it looks like the setting once in WindowsUpdates does not stick. If you choose to have it auto update at any other time, it resets itself back to 3:00am. So it seems like there may be a bug with this - figures...
