Hello All,
I was wondering if any of you have encountered, what I believe to be, a bug in IE after installing XP SP2? For some reason when I create legitimate pop-up windows, even if I set the status to equal zero (status=0), it continues to show the status bar on the bottom of the window. Also, I noticed that the title on the top of the window displays the web address followed by the actual title of the page that I named within the TITLE tag, when it should only show the title since I have specified a title... Here is the kicker - I have an internal web server here at my home to test out what I am developing and it has the EXACT files that are being hosted on an external host, and I am not experiencing the two bugs mentioned above. Now I have tried other websites that have pop up windows as well, and they too experience the same issues I am experiencing... If you need some links to test out (that is if you have XP SP2), please let me know and I'll provide some links. Very weird bug(s) if you ask me! I was just wondering if any of you have encountered these issues? Thanks in advance! -SlickVic78 |
