Dont know if you want this to happen or not, but whenever I mouse over the banner at the top (either on home page or on forums), it appears that it refreshes and re-draws the picture on the left of the banner. That includes from the quotation bubble all the way to the end of the community word. The circular arrows on the far right do not change. Do you guys want this to happen or not? I dont know so I figured I would mention it, in case you guys didnt know about it.
It may not be a big deal for those high speeders, but I am on dialup right now so it takes about a sec to redraw it :P |

i'm asking because it should not refresh at all as it's a simple div with a background attribute. Code:
<div id='logostrip'> and the background is simply a css attribute Code:
#logostrip{ it''s very weird and really this should not happen I tested it with IE , Mozilla, Firefox and Netscape ( 4.7) and it's all good. Sony |
I am using Firefox right now and it looks fine. I was on another computer at the time and was using IE. I think I was using the pre-SP1 version of IE though, so it more than likely is that versions problem that apparently has been fixed. Thanks for at least looking into it Sony.

Well, I am back on dialup for the time being and it is still doing its redraw thing. It redraws before the little box comes up by the mouse saying 'Return to Forums Index, Powered by IPB'. It seems like when I mouse over that banner it asks for a refresh or something because i get network traffic when I mouse over it. I am using IE 6.0.2600.0000 with hotfixes of Q323759, Q810847, Q837009, Q832894, Q867801, and Q823353. Again, its not a big deal (as the banner is only a few kb to load), but thought I would let you know about it for the folks that aren't up to date in their browsers. Thanks again.

Not sure what's going on there, i tested at a friends house earlier and didn't get a redraw- her system is pre sp2 as well, same build as yours but i didn't note her Qxxxxx fix's.

I am using xp sp1 with no hotfixes atm. lol Yeap zero. Just installed. hehe
No problem. Um only think i can think of is maybe IE is set to always refresh on every vist to page and its messed up or something? |
Ahh, that was it War :) It was selected to do that. Switched it to Automatic. Thanks guys.

Yeap no problem.
